hello, and welcome to the cigarettes and the sun tour! we welcome you with wide open arms. here you get to meet all the different bands, and those guys that you just wanna throw yourself at. or girls, whatever tickles your fancy. we've got some pretty girls, and some attractive guys, just be careful what you do on tour. that internet is a scary place.

THE ALPHA POLICY 
sounds like avenged sevenfold & bullet for my valentine
the alpha policy was formed in high school by (vocals), (l. guitar), and (drummer). they found (r. guitar) at a concert and later help open auditions and found (bassist). the band has been together for aprox. ten years and has been signed for the last eight. they’re known as somewhat of a party band, the headliner for this tour, always playing shows a little be less than sober. essentially, they’re a good group of guys, treating everyone associated with them like family. 

note : mod joss would appreciate if people did not use jimmy sullivan for the drummer, but if you would like to, please talk to a mod before applying.

COUNTERFEIT BREAKDOWN
sounds like papa roach & my darkest days
in the eighth grade (vocals) and (l.guitar) were dared to preform in the school’s talent show. a few friends knew they had the idle dream of being in a band someday and hoped to embarrass them. turns out, they weren’t embarrassed at all. everyone thought they were the coolest thing ever and quickly they found (drums). as they went through high school they played for a bunch of different events and parties. if there was music needed, they were it. (bassist) came to them by luck. they needed one and he offered at the right moment. as well, he brought along his best friend, (r.guitar). counterfeit breakdown was signed in their senior year of high school and they’ve been going at it for the last twelve years. they didn’t get anywhere close to successful until about eight years ago and they’re headlining the tour with the alpha policy.

RAD MINORITY
sounds like all time low & we are the kings
rad minority is (r. guitar)’s baby. they formed the band when they were in high school with (bassist), but the band was pretty much a joke. eventually they found a (drums), (bassist)’s cousin and they dragged their best friend along to sing for them. but it didn’t work out and with rad minority going nowhere, the vocalist quit and in came (vocals) and (l. guitar). they’ve been signed for about four years and this is their third year on tour. for a band who was nothing, they sure are going somewhere fast.

VOX POPULI 
sounds like paramore & we are the in crowd
vox populi is one of the best bands with a female lead on tour, just ask anyone. (vocals), (b. vocals), (keyboards), and (guitar) all met in a college music 101 class and discovered, after a group project, that they had potential to become something. they held the crappiest auditions for the rest of the band and came up empty handed. but four years ago vox populi was signed and the record company gave them (bassist). (bassist) isn’t exactly a great fit for the band, but he sticks around for the fame and they keep him for the sound. (drummer) was the last to enter. he joined the band on their first tour three years ago and he’s been with them ever since.

THE GRAVEYARD SHIFT
sounds like motionless in white
the graveyard shift is (vocals) baby, created in a basement, dreamt up with the vaguest notions of becoming something. with the help of (l. guitar) and (drums), the graveyard shift was able to start something very.. very underground. they are the babies of the tour, the weirdos and the freaks, who stand for something more than all the other bands combined. (keyboards) became a part of the family next, adding a new kind of sound to the underground shows, when (vocals) grabbed (r. guitar) and declared that he was now in the band. (r. guitar) used to be the band’s bassist until (bassist) came along two years ago. the graveyard shift used to play to a select crowd of their own kind until their label plucked them up and put their faces on posters. finally they’ve become something, built from almost nothing.

THE GRINDSTONE EXPERIENCE
sounds like you me at six & sleeping with sirens 
the grindstone experience was founded by (drummer), who was sick of playing the drums in school bands. they’re so limiting, he insisted. so he grabbed (bassist) who was in the high school orchestra with (drummer) and they taught themselves how to play “the real way”. (guitar) came to them on a stroke of luck, standing outside a venue for a concert, (guitar) informed them he was looking for a band. three years ago they found (vocals), who is actually the ex vocalist from rad minority. needless to say, the two bands do not get along well. the grindstone experience has been on tour for three years and this is their second year on this tour.

ALICE AND THE TOKYO IRREGULARS
sounds like tonight alive & new years day
alice and the tokyo irregulars is the baby on tour. (guitar), (drummer), and (bassist) have been friends forever and if you want to get technical about it, which they do, the band has been in existence since they were about ten. (vocals) is the baby sister of (guitar)’s best friend and pretty much begged and pleaded her way into the bad. that being so, they’re better with her than they’ve ever been. this is their first year on tour and they’re absolutely loving it.
